Movie sequels are very tricky and often fail in coming close capture the trill and magic of the originals.

While there are several snags in making the sequels and they do make the movie aficionados wait longer and longer, all the sequels are not successful while some make the audience wanting to have more. Here are some of the sequels coming out soon from well-known franchises.

1. Super Troopers 2

This 2002 crime-comedy film is indeed very funny and the story revolves around 5 state troopers from Vermont who love playing pranks on people. A massive crowdfunding campaign is helping the Broken Lizard gang to come to the big screen again after 15 long years. Hope this will become a great comedy sequel after all the long wait. Super Troopers 2 is scheduled for release on April 20.

2. Avengers: Infinity War

Good news to all Marvel fans! One of the most anticipated movie sequels of 2018 – Avengers: Infinity War will soon hit the theaters worldwide. As the Avengers continue to protect the world from all cosmic things, movie buffs all over the world are waiting for this massive event. The movie’s initial release date is April 25.

3. Deadpool 2

Deadpool,released in 2015, was a wonderful success and so the expectations are very high for the super-hero sequel. Ryan Reynolds tried for years together for a better role after his role as the merc without mouth in X-Men series and luckily made Deadpool.We have to wait and see if he can manage to thrill the audience again.The movie arrives in theaters on June 1.

4. Oceans Eight

Not sure whether this one can be termed as a sequel to the George Clooney starring Ocean’s Triology. ‘Coz this one has an all-female cast together with Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett and Sarah Paulson. And this time it is going to be Danny Oceans sister, Sandra Bullock, who will be calling the shots. Set to release on 8th June.

5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

The Jurassic Park franchise is not extinct after all. They are coming back big this June 22 after knowing that their fans have a massive appetite for dinosaurs – of course on the screen. Universal studios has officially titled the sequel as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and is bringing back Jeff Goldblum, Bryce Dallas and Chris Patt. Only this time, it is J.A. Bayona of A Monster Calls who’ll be calling the shots.
