David Andrew Fincher is an American director and producer who was born in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. During his school days, he directed many plays and even designed sets. In his early career, he was employed as production head at Korty Films.

Slowly moved up the ranks, initially directed many big brand commercial ads and directed his first full-length movie, Alien 3. Then went on to direct many movies such as The Game, Panic Room, Zodiac and The Social Network. He is also the executive producer for two of the Netflix series – House of Cards and Mindhunter. Fight Club (1999)

Fight club is an American black comedy movie adapted from a novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. An insomniac office worker, the narrator (Edward Norton) in a way to overcome his emotional state, crosses paths with soap maker Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and dragged into an underground fight club which later turns out to something more hidden. It is regarded as the cult movie of the 90s.

Seven (1995)

Seven is an American neo-noir thriller movie in which two detectives, a rookie David Mills (Brad Pitt) and a veteran William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) partner together to hunt a serial killer John Doe (Kevin Spacey) who uses the seven deadly sins as a motif in his murders. Other star casts include Gwyneth Paltrow and John C. McGinley. The movie leaves you head spinning and heart pumping.

Gone Girl (2014)

Gone Girl is an American psychological thriller movie based on the novel with the same name by Gillian Flynn. With his wife’s, Amy Dunne (Rosamund Pike) disappearance, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) have become the focus of a serious media circus and primary suspect. Rosamund Pike’s performance was critically acclaimed and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is an American fantasy romantic drama movie that tells the story of Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) who ages backwards. The storyline is slightly adapted from a short story with the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Daisy (Cate Blanchett) plays the love interest of Benjamin throughout his life. The movie received 13 Academy Award nominations.

The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo(2011)

The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo is a Swedish-American psychological thriller move adapted from a novel of the same name by Stieg Larsson. Journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is aided by a young computer hacker Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara) to search a woman who is been missing for 40 years. Mara earned a nomination in Academy Awards for Best actress.
