Quentin Jerome Tarantino is an American director, writer, and actor who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has directed many critically acclaimed and financially successful movies that are characterised by nonlinear storylines and aesthiticization of violence.

He frequently collaborates with Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Christoph Waltz and Uma Thurman. In his career, he had won Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay for two of his movies – Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained. Pulp Fiction (1994)

Pulp Fiction is an American crime movie that tells a few stories of criminal Los Angeles. The movie depicts the lives of two mob hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) a gangster’s wife Mia (Uma Thurman), a boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) are intertwined in the tales of violence and redemption.

Kill Bill : Vol. 1 (2003)

Kill Bill : Volume 1 is an American martial arts movie that stars Uma Thurman who plays role The Bride, wakes from a 4-year coma and swears a vengeance on the deadly viper assassination squad (a team she was once part of) that betrayed her. It is the first of the two Kill Bill movies made. Other star casts include Lucy Liu, Vivicia A. Fox and Michael Madsen.

Inglorious Bastards (2009)

Inglorious bastard is war movie set during World War II, in Nazi-occupied France, which depicts two fictional alternate history plots to assassinate Nazi’s leadership. The movie stars Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger and Melani Laurent. The movie received 8 Academy Award Nominations where Christoph Waltz won Academy Award for best Supporting Actor.

Django Unchained (2012)

Django is a American revisionist Western movie in which a German bounty hunter Schultz (Christoph Waltz – Won Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor) helps a freed slave Django (Jamie Foxx) who set out rescue his wife, Broomhilda von Shaft (Kerry Washington) from a ruthless plantation owner, Calvin Candie (Leonardo De Caprio). It is Tarantino’s highest grosser till date.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Reservoir Dogs is an American heist thriller movie in which 5 criminals are hired to carry out a diamond robbery, but the heist goes terribly wrong and the who criminals who survived, suspect that one amongst them is an undercover police officer. The movie stars Harvey Keitel,  Chris Penn, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, Michael Madsen and Lawrence Tierney.
