Chal Mohan Ranga is Written and directed by lyricist-turned-director Krishna Chaitanya, starring Nithiin and Megha Akash in the lead roles. The breezy trailers have promised a cute romantic entertainer with strong technical values. It has been created a good buzz among audience as it is a joint production of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas. Nithiin and Megha teamed up after last year’s debacle LIE, and pinned a lot of hopes on this film. The music of the film is composed by S.S Thaman.

Mohan Ranga (Nithiin) ‘s childhood ambition is to secure a job in USA. After his visa being rejected 3 times, he finds an innovative way to land in USA on a temporary visa. In a bid to find a job, he meets Megha (Megha Akash). As the story progresses, they become good friends and slowly, start falling for each other. When it is time for proposal, many doubts arise in their minds and both back off for a reason. Then Megha’s family moves to Ooty and the rest is how Ranga wins back Megha.

‘Chal Mohan Ranga’ is Nithiin’s 25th film and has done a full comedy-oriented role in this milestone. The film has an utterly predictable storyline. Megha Akash, just can’t seem to emote. The thing works for the film  is the situational comedy that elicits laughs every few minutes. The movie is a time-pass ride, go watch the film with zero expectations and if you don’t mind a predictable story!
