Sushant Dubey (Manoj Bajpayee) heads to Mauritius with his wife, Aparna (Tabu) and daughter, Titli on his official trip. The couple’s happiness is short-lived as their child goes missing in less than 4 hours of them checking in to the resort and the desperate parents seek the help of the celebrated Mauritius police officer Buddhu (Annu Kapoor). While solving the case, they stumble upon various leads, most of which are dead ends and turns it into a cat and mouse game.
This thriller has an interesting premise that fails to create the right impact. A small girl goes missing in the dead of the night, but the parents of this little girl run around in the exotic locales of a Mauritius resort like headless chickens. Bajpayee plays a dodgy Casanova type who flits from one fancy to another. Tabu appears to be highly strung and hysterical, and both are such skilled pros.
What good is a thriller that’s not thrilling? It gets worse when you start laughing at a mystery movie. Any and all prospect of this film is lost in the midst of shoddy filmmaking. The background music feels a bit jarring and some of the dialogues appear to be silly. Inspite of all this, if you are getting bored at home, go and watch it to kill the time.
